Each model is designed by Olivia, and all leathers and materials are carefully selected by her from the same Italian suppliers as renowned fashion houses. She built this network during her internship as a Product Developer at TOD’s. Every pair is handcrafted in an Italian family-owned factory, where craftsmanship and passion come together in every detail.

Cara Rosa is the brainchild of Olivia Couvreur. After experiencing firsthand what it means to constantly switch between style and comfort in the fashion and business world, she decided to design the solution herself. Her reality demanded two pairs of shoes: sneakers to get through the miles of the day, and a second pair to show up professionally and stylishly. An inconvenient routine that was taken for granted… and that, thanks to Cara Rosa, is now a thing of the past.

The name Cara Rosa, Italian for “dear Rosa,” is a tribute to Olivia’s grandmother Rosa. She proved that timeless elegance and an unstoppable spirit can go hand in hand.

Where many fancy women’s shoes are designed through a male gaze — sexy first, wearable later (and often not wearable at all) — Cara Rosa starts from a woman’s calendar and how she truly moves through her day. From long workdays and packed schedules to spontaneous plans and meaningful moments — style and comfort are no longer a trade-off.
